Your wedding should feel like an experience you lived fully, and your photographs should bring all of that happiness rushing back.
You’ve probably saved inspiration, thought carefully about the feeling of your celebration, and wondered whether you’re supposed to know how to pose. You may have even warned each other that you’re “awkward in photos” or “not picture people” as approximately seventy-five percent of my couples do.
But listen, you don’t need to arrive with camera skills or a list of rehearsed interactions–in fact, that’s the opposite of what we stand for over here. I take time to learn how you connect, what makes you laugh, and how much direction feels helpful. That understanding lets me guide you naturally while leaving plenty of room for the joyful, weird, tender, wonderfully unplanned moments to take place.
Hi, I’m Amanda, a Seattle wedding photographer with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography and a deep appreciation for people who love each other with their whole chest.
My couples tend to care about the details because they want the day to flow well once it arrives. They’re intentional, collaborative, and excited to build a vendor team they can genuinely trust. I’ll help you think through lighting, timing, family photographs, locations, and the pieces you didn’t realize would affect your gallery. When the wedding arrives, you’ll be able to focus on each other while I photograph the joy, tenderness, and little background moments that you already can’t wait to relive.
